Volunteering in Manly Warringah
Be a friend for the elderly
Lifeline Northern Beaches
Lifeline Northern Beaches is looking for volunteers to visit isolated people across 16 residential aged care facilities in Manly Warringah once a fortnight. Volunteers will be a part of The Community Visitors Scheme (CVS), a Federal Government initiative designed to foster connections between people living in aged care and those in their local community. You will provide company and companionship for these residents – listening to their stories and experiences, playing games, sharing cups of tea and forging genuine friendships. If you are interested in joining the initiative, phone 9949 5522.
