North Sydney Wharf upgrade
Work on a new and improved North Sydney Wharf began in late December.
Transport for NSW will conduct community consultation on the upgrades, which include weather protection and the repositioning of the accessible pathway and car park.
“The North Sydney wharf - situated in the heart of Sydney Harbour - will be upgraded to deliver modern, safe, and accessible infrastructure for residents and visitors alike,” said Member for North Shore, Felicity Wilson.
“Local residents use the wharf every day to commute or enjoy travelling across our harbour, and the new wharf will provide many benefits for our community, including a covered waiting area, seating, and weather protection.”
Due to the construction works, the wharf will be inaccessible for up to six months, according to the NSW Government.
