Axis Fencing - Fencing Contractor
TIPS WHEN SELECTING A FENCING CONTRACTOR
Buy from a registered company
(our ABN is:67109944676 / ACN:109944676)
Buy from an established company to ensure you receive the service, workmanship and product you are paying for! In this industry there are many "backyard" operations, working from the back of a ute or home. Follow up can be difficult when you have a problem. Will they still be in business to honour their warranty when something, inevitably, goes wrong?!
Axis Fencing Group has extensive experience in the fencing industry operating from a factory, office and showroom located in an industrial estate in Cromer. We encourage potential customers to visit our operation.
Buy from a licenced fencing contractor
Many people don't bother to check that their chosen contractor has a current fencing licence and that the licence number quoted in advertising/quotations is for that business/person. A licence check can be done on the Department of Fair Trading website (see below)
Instructions for New South Wales Department of Fair Trading Builders Licence Check
1. "Copy" licence number: 168392C (Axis Fencing Group’s licence number)
2. Go to the DFT licence check website page -http://www.licence.nsw.gov.au/LicenceCheck/
3. When on the NSW Online Licence Check
- Click the box next to Home Building
- Insert (paste) the licence number
- Click ‘I Agree’ & see results
To ensure you are covered against faulty workmanship and property damage, the company must be insured. Axis Fencing Group has complete public liability insurance cover with QBE Insurance Australia, our policy number is 118A598270BPK.
Work Cover Approved
Ensure the company is in compliance with current laws and that you will not be liable for injury whilst an employee is on site. Axis Fencing Group is covered by Gallagher Bassett Services Workers Compensation NSW work cover and our policy number is MWN6004159033.
