The business was previously named Gavin Williamson and Associates for many years until a recent re-brand.
Robert Rigg and a fellow co-worker purchased the business in 2005. The role of director was fully assigned to Robert in recent years, and he decided to re-brand the company in late 2017.
Along with the name change, the company also introduced a new logo, website and a fresh new fitout of their office which reflects their new branding.
About the director of Rigg Conveyancing - Robert Rigg
Robert is the director of Rigg Conveyancing and is a licensed conveyancer with over 20 years experience. Having always been a people person, Robert knew from a young age that he would find his ideal career path in a customer service focused industry.
Being a people person, Robert loves working in the conveyancing industry. He enjoys helping people with buying and selling properties which is one of the most important things people do during their lifetime.
Robert likes to get involved in each client’s specific scenario and he has a great approach with making people feel comfortable about the whole purchasing and selling process, which can be something the client is often stressed about.
He has great attention to detail, and enjoys looking at contracts and the challenge of dealing with unique situations that constantly arise in this line of work.
After finishing high school, Robert went straight into tertiary education, completing his Advanced Diploma in Conveyancing at TAFE.
Following his studies, Robert made a start in the conveyancing industry by finding a position at local conveyancing firm, Gavin Williamson and Associates.
After working for Gavin Williamson and Associates for a couple of years, Robert realised that he had developed the skills and interest necessary to run his own conveyancing business.
In 2005 the perfect opportunity came about for Robert and another employee to buy the conveyancing business they worked for. Robert later became sole director and continues to build the business.
